Senior DevOps Engineer fulltime remote EU (m/f/d)

Introduction

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our digital infrastructure. You’ll ensure seamless, efficient deployment processes, strengthen our cloud environment, and enhance our containerization efforts. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will bring your passion for automation and continuous improvement to drive innovation and optimize our DevOps practices. This role requires someone with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset to make significant contributions to our technology landscape.

Your mission

Design, implement, and manage digital infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring system stability and efficiency
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to streamline our release process and enable rapid deployment
Oversee cloud environments (primarily AWS), ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance
Create and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including orchestration and scaling
Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement DevOps best practices and ensure consistent delivery standards
Employ scripting languages (Python, Bash) to automate tasks, enhance workflows, and maintain scripts and configurations
Uphold high security standards, embedding security best practices within the development and deployment pipeline
Proactively troubleshoot issues, diagnose and resolve infrastructure or application-related challenges in real time
Continuously research and adopt new tools and technologies that enhance automation, monitoring, and alerting

Your profile

6+ years in DevOps, with proven expertise across core DevOps practices and infrastructure management
Proficient in Git, Python, and Bash
Familiar with tools for defining, managing, and versioning infrastructure
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, especially Jenkins
Hands-on experience with AWS services and managing cloud environments
Advanced skills with Docker and Kubernetes, including orchestration and scaling
Solid understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting
Ability to design and execute long-term DevOps strategies and improvements

Als Senior DevOps Engineer bist du maßgeblich am Aufbau und an der Wartung unserer digitalen Infrastruktur beteiligt. Du sorgst für reibungslose und effiziente Deployment-Prozesse, stärkst unsere Cloud-Umgebung und optimierst unsere Containerisierung. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams bringst du deine Leidenschaft für Automatisierung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung ein, um Innovationen voranzutreiben und unsere DevOps-Praktiken zu optimieren. Deine Aufgaben

Entwurf, Implementierung und Verwaltung der digitalen Infrastruktur und Pipelines zur Sicherstellung von Stabilität und Effizienz
Einhaltung hoher Sicherheitsstandards und Integration von Security-Best-Practices in die Entwicklungs- und Deployment-Pipeline
Entwicklung und Wartung von CI/CD-Pipelines mit Tools wie Jenkins, um unseren Release-Prozess zu optimieren und schnelle Deployments zu ermöglichen
Überwachung der Cloud-Umgebungen (hauptsächlich AWS) zur Sicherstellung von Skalierbarkeit, Sicherheit und optimaler Performance
Erstellung und Verwaltung von Anwendungen mit Docker und Kubernetes, inklusive Orchestrierung und Skalierung
Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungs- und Betriebsteams zur Umsetzung von DevOps-Best-Practices und zur Sicherstellung konsistenter Delivery-Standards
Automatisierung von Aufgaben und Optimierung von Workflows mithilfe von Skriptsprachen (Python, Bash), sowie Wartung von Skripten und Konfigurationen
Proaktive Problemlösung und Realtime-Diagnose und -Behebung von Infrastruktur- oder Anwendungsherausforderungen
Kontinuierliche Recherche und Einführung neuer Tools und Technologien zur Optimierung von Automatisierung, Monitoring und Alarmierung

Dein Profil

6+ Jahre Erfahrung im DevOps-Bereich mit nachgewiesener Expertise in den zentralen DevOps-Praktiken und Infrastrukturmanagement
Sicherer Umgang mit Git, Python und Bash
Meisterhaftes Umgehen mit Tools zur Definition, Verwaltung und Versionierung von Infrastrukturen
Ausgeprägtes Wissen in CI/CD-Tools und -Prozessen, insbesondere Jenkins
Praktische Erfahrung mit AWS-Diensten und Verwaltung von Cloud-Umgebungen
Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in Docker und Kubernetes, einschließlich Orchestrierung und Skalierung
Fundiertes Verständnis von Netzwerkprinzipien und Fehlerbehebung
